Dinner For One
Ring in the 20's on NYE with a four-course meal including wine pairings, a hilarious one-act comedy, and live music by Vintage Vocalist, Melinda Lancaster!
Dinner for One is a comedy sketch written by British author, Lauri Wylie, for the theatre. It is the ninetieth birthday of upper-class Englishwoman Miss Sophie. She hosts a dinner every year for her friends Sir Toby, Admiral von Schneider, Mr. Pomeroy, and Mr. Winterbottom. She has outlived all of them, but continues to host the party, pretending her friends are alive and seated round the table. Her aged manservant, James, aids the tradition, reluctantly, by impersonating the guests.
Dinner will be served before the play, followed by dancing and drinks to ring in the New Year with live music by Vintage Vocalist, Mindy Lancaster! 1920's attire is encouraged!
After-party tickets available for $10. Dance only - No dinner. No show. Doors open at 9:00 pm for after-party.
